Harry Edwin Sultemeier was born March 3, 1934 in Sandy, Texas to Edwin Adam Sultemeier and Adele Hulda Sultemeier and passed away on September, 10, 2011. He was confirmed in the Lutheran faith in April, 1951 at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, Texas by Pastor Otto Lindenberg. Harry attended school in Sandy until the community school closed.
Jerry Wayne Kent, 65, passed away September 11, 2011 in Fredericksburg. He was born in Fredericksburg to Royal P. Kent and Lelia Gipson Kent. Jerry was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Anna "Kay" Kent; his mother Lelia Kent; son, Shawn Garrison Kent; nieces, Kara Meyers and Tina Wheeler-Renner.
Sharon Kay Longley Cummins Sharon Kay Longley Wilson Cummins, a long time resident of Pepper Tree Park in Austin, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011 while a resident at Senior Care at Onion Creek, following a short fight against ALS. Sharon was born in San Antonio, February 13, 1946. She was adopted by Glenn Sr.

Lee Howard Andrews, 16 years of age, was tragically taken from us on August 31, 2011. Lee died at his home in Johnson City while tending to the numerous animals he loved. Lee is survived by his mom, Terry Fisher. Our Father in Heaven supplied many great men to fill the void of father in Lee’s life; Reagan Heartfield and Don Elmore are just a couple of many such men, his church family, 5 dogs, 8 cats, 2 horses and numerous goats, chickens and turkeys. Janette Odiorne Hoppe of Johnson City, Texas was born May 12, 1935 in Johnson City, Texas and passed away on August 30, 2011. She grew up on the family ranch in Johnson City and in high school met her future husband. Janette and Dwayne were married on April 9, 1954 in the First United Methodist Church of Johnson City where she remained active through out her life.

David Lee Foster passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 in Richland Springs, Texas at the age of 55. He was born October 12, 1955 to David Lloyd and Margaret Elaine (Womack) Foster in Beeville, Texas. When David was young he helped his father feed the cattle and ride horses. He attended the First Baptist Church in Johnson City during his childhood but was unable to attend later in life.
Jerry Lee Wenmohs, 68, of Round Mountain, TX, passed away August 13, 2011. He was born August 29, 1942 in Gonzales, TX to the late Max J. Wenmohs and Loma Ebeling Wenmohs. Following graduation from Jasper High School in 1960, Jerry attended Texas A&M University and graduated with an Agriculture Degree from Tarleton State University in 1968. Between college semesters, Jerry worked at Burnham Brothers Sporting Goods in Marble Falls.

May 28, 1927 – July 17, 2011 Wynona Lee Banks, age 84, passed away on July 17, 2011 at her home in Canyon Lake, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Melbourne Jerome Banks, her parents Denver Colorado Wynn and Eunice Pearl Wynn, her siblings, L. D. Wynn, Bobby Ray Wynn and Caroline Sue Wynn.

Lucille Mitchell Corrales passed away on May 31, 2011. She was residing at Spring Village Care Center in Colorado Springs. Lucille was 91 1/2 years old. She is survived by her two daughters, Bettie Jo Benzel (deceased husband Everett) of Colorado Springs, Co and Diane Maines Beagle (husband Nick) of Johnson City, Tx ; two grandchildren, Kandel Hess (husband Darryl) of Falcon, Co and Darren Maines of Austin, Tx; two great -grandchildren Tyler and Zachary Hess of Falcon, Co.

Jack Henry Armstrong, 58, passed away May 18, 2011 at his home in Johnson City. Jack was born in Auburn, WA to Thurston Armstrong and Edna Fae Millarr. Jack proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy, was a member of the Seafarer’s Union, and was employed with the National Park Service in Johnson City.
