Anna Mae Casparis was born in Johnson City, TX on September 26, 1917 to Jimmie and Meta Stevenson. She passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 at LBJ Medical Center. Mrs. Casparis was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Howard Milton “Big Red” Casparis. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Bearden of Johnson City and Dianna Gail Casparis of Killeen, TX; two grandchildren, Brent Ray Bearden and wife Kim of Ft.

Ines “Pepe” Rivera, 60, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at his home in Blanco. He was born on April 10, 1948 in Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico to Ines Rivera and Pascuala Hernandez. Pepe was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Juan Rivera and sisters, Maria Ibarra and Juanita Trevino.

Chester Harry William Goehmann Chester Harry William Goehmann beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend was born on May 28, 1926 in the Cave Creek Community in Gillespie County, Texas. He passed away on October 12, 2008 at the age of 82, in Blanco County, Texas. He married Beatrice Clara “Pat” Birck on June 9, 1950.

Dolores Machu Volek Dolores Machu Volek, 77, passed away early Saturday morning, Sept. 6, 2008, at her home south of Taylor, Texas. She was born July 4, 1931 in Granger to William and Marie (Janak) Cervenka. She was married to Johnnie Daniel Machu Nov. 22, 1949 in Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger.

Linda Tharp Linda Tharp, 67, of Elm Grove, formerly of Dripping Springs, TX. passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at her residence in Elm Grove. She was born May 3, 1941 in Blanco, Texas the daughter of Ollie Sorrell and Alma Felps Sorrell. In May 1959, Linda Marie Sorrell and Walter Tharp were married in Dripping Springs, Texas.

Verlie Dorine Wyatt Martin Verlie Dorine Wyatt Martin was born on March 20, 1916, near Burnet, Texas. She passed away October 6, 2008 at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her father, Jordon Wyatt, mother Dollie Harriet Crider Wyatt and daughter, Barbara (Bobbie) Annale Haydon. She is survived by her daughter Geraldine Ross and husband John Ross of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren including Tommy Haydon and Kathy Haydon Hood, formerly of Johnson City; 17 great grandchildren including Tommy Haydon, Jr and Suanne Haydon, formerly of Johnson City; and 5 great great grandchildren. She worked for 35 years at Charles’ Restaurant and Motel in Johnson City, TX before retiring in 1987.

Edda Triesch Deike Edda Triesch Deike was born in Blanco, Texas on February 17, 1907 to Henry and Katherine Preiss Triesch. She died in Blanco, Texas at the age of 101 years and seven months on September 18, 2008. Edda was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Deike, her parents, and all of her siblings; 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Edda married Herman Deike on February 10, 1935 at the Trinity Lutheran Church when it was at Twin Sisters.

Mildred Graves Mildred Graves, born in 1908, has passed away at the age of 100. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Graves. She is survivied by her daughter, Betty Mucha, her three grandchildren, Leslee Stewart, David Mucha, and Ronna Harrison. She had four great-grandchildren: Jessica and Katelyn Stewart, Kyle Conyers, and Rayna Web.

Cody Wayne Young Born June 26th, 1980 Cody was called home to his Lord in Heaven September 11th, 2008. Cody suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury from a rollover accident near Ingram, Texas on December 7th, 2005. Cody endured the past 33 months in a coma. Cody’s suffering and pain has ended.

Donald Edgar Smith 1959-2008 Donnie Smith was born May 14, 1959 in Bexar County and left this world on Friday September 12, 2008 in Round Mountain at the age of 49. He is survived by two daughters; Katrina Smith and fiancé Clayton Wells of Round Mountain, Texas, Shayla Smith and fiancé Lucas Henderson of Round Mountain, Texas, grandson Devon Smith, who is expecting a sister of Round Mountain.
