I wonder how many people braved Black Friday. It was definitely a little scary. I heard that Johnson City had a huge crowd for the lightning of the Courthouse and for the Lighted Hooves and Wheels Parade. Way to go JC. Pat Stokes, Bill Stokes, and Elizabeth Sooter provided a Thanksgiving feast for friends and family @ the JCHA Community Room.

She had to be careful to avoid popping the buttons off the shirts when she put them through those rollers.

Halloween! We had as much fun as the trick-or-treaters. There were many scary costumes and we had a wonderful time seeing each and every costume. I hope everybody enjoyed Halloween as much as we did.
Don’t forget to fall back one hour on November 6th, 2011.
Here we go to Standard Time Returning.

I had a coach in high school who told his team that as long as he was yelling at us everything was alright. "It’s when I quit yelling at you that you need to worry because when I stop yelling at you, I have lost confidence in you."
Minerva Teichert (1888-1976) had a similar experience.
