The Big Dipper
Of the very brightest stars (called 1st-magnitude stars) none are in the northern-most night sky, yet that part of the sky holds seven moderately bright stars that form a pattern more familiar than any of the brightest stars. You know how our kids knew we were going on vacation? I took orders every night from each kid and my husband, "what do you want to wear tomorrow for school or for work?"

To the Editor, About your recent "you might be a JC native if you remember" a house where the PEC building is now". I thought you might be interested in a little more background about that general area.
