North Blanco County EMS has recently purchased a new vehicle. The vehicle is a Ford F150 crew cab 4X4 which will serve many purposes. This vehicle is an upgrade to what has been used in the past. NBCEMS has been utilizing a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria which was used by the Johnson City Police Department prior to that. It was time to either put some money into the Crown Vic or just get something else.

It seems like we just had Christmas, didn’t we? I heard that we had lots of people in town for the lighting of the courthouse on Friday.
Quilts and football games have gone together forever. They used what is called Stadium Blankets and they are very hard to find now, but guess what? I have found one and it is in my car, but it is not heavy enough to keep someone warm during a November or December football game.
The Rescue of Princess Andromeda
It’s the time of year for Hero Perseus’ annual rescue of Princess Andromeda, the damsel in the sort of distress only the ancients could have dreamed up. It all started with Andromeda’s brash mother, Queen Cassiopeia, who lacked the good graces — and good sense — to keep her bragging under control.
