The Johnson City 4-H Club met on November 12, 2008 at the county annex building. Jessica Moore started off the meeting with an ice breaker for the meeting. Groups of three demonstrated how communication skills help with every day life. Brittany Sultemeier called the meeting to order with a roll call that required everyone to tell what their favorite Thanksgiving dish was. New Members were introduced and welcomed. The next order of business was finalizing plans for the Club’s annual fundraiser at the Lights Spectacular, one of our major fundraisers. Johnson City and the surrounding communities are invited to support the JC 4-H Club by having their pictures taken with Santa on November 28th from 6-10 pm and November 29th following the Lights Spectacular parade until 10pm. The last order of business was to make plans for the annual Christmas party which will take place on December 18th. The Club will go ice skating in Fredericksburg and conclude with a gift exchange at Mr. Gattis.
