Halloween was a lot of fun for us. We dressed up and played our parts and had a fantastic lunch. The turn out for the luncheon was really great. Costumes winners were Dorothy Turner - First Place as a witch, Jimmie Young - Second Place as a farmer’s wife, and Bill Stokes - Third Place as a beauty queen. You would not believe all the neat costumes this year. There were a lot of people participating and they took time to be part of the fun and excitement. Thank you tenants; this is what makes our little community a neat place to live.
The First Baptist Church had BBQ over the weekend. As always, the food was out of this world and well worth the price.

I am excited about going to Mexico, but it will be awhile before I get to go again. Once the doctor signs off on my health, I will be ready to get back into high gear and be a part of everyday fun things to do. I do not make a good sick person. I would rather be out and about doing things.
They say rain is in our forecast for the end of this week. Everybody, dance your heart out, because we do need the rain.
Food for thought: If you are experiencing grief for any reason, allow yourself time to mourn and weep.
