Things are still happening here.
The weather has been exceptionally nice. We could still use some rain, so here goes that special prayer for rain and that special dance we all need to do.
Capital Area Food Bank was here on the 21st. We actually enjoy seeing them come to us. They supply us with much needed food items to help us make it till the end of the month. Combine this with the Catholic Charities program that came on the 21st and we have a great day with great services. Both of these programs are for anybody.

I went to the hospital for a short stay. They removed some fluid and got me to feeling better. Thank God for hospitals and doctors, family, and friends.
Next week is an exciting week for all of us. We are having a Halloween Luncheon and we are being judged for the best costumes. After the luncheon we will meet at 4:00 PM outside and hand out candy for the Halloween trick-or-treaters. We have so much fun seeing the kids dressed up and stopping by to see us. I think we enjoy it as much as the kids.
Food for thought: Hardships happens to us all. We survive and become a little wiser and we learn to lean on one another in the process.
