Last Saturday, the LBJ Fighting Eagle Band traveled to Georgetown for the UIL Marching Contest. The band marched at 3:15 on the astroturf at the Georgetown High School Athletic Complex. They proudly accepted the second division award, which was a great result in their hard work out on the field, and a lot of improvement was shown since the beginning of marching season. If you missed the band, they are still performing the entire Santana show at the Friday night games during halftime until the end of football season. A special thanks to Mr. Bryan Anders, Mrs. Kathi Jones, and the Band Boosters, for everything they have done for the band.
