The Pleasant Hill - Rocky Community Club is holding its annual Smorgasbord on Saturday, November 1st, the first day of deer season. The site of this benefit feast for area residents, friends, and visiting hunters is the historic Pleasant Hill - Rocky School Building, which is located about 7 miles west of Johnson City, just off Highway 290 West, on CR 205 (Rocky Road).

Serving will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will continue until 8:30 p.m. or until food runs out. Meals are by donation.

Funds raised are used to help support the North Blanco County EMS, the Blanco and Johnson City libraries, the Johnson City and Stonewall volunteer fire departments, the Blanco County Youth Council, the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, the Hill Country Memorial Hospital Wellness Center, and similar organizations.
