All the hard work from volunteers and guild members paid off Saturday morning when as soon as the doors opened at 8:45 am, people started coming in. With over 300 people passing through the doors and 18 door prizes given away, the ladies of Johnson City Quilt Guild were kept very busy. Visitors enjoyed viewing over 100 quilts from Vintage to Works In Progress and were able to see the wonderful “Then and Now” display that the ladies did such a great job on. We heard comments of praise all day long. One comment that was heard more than once was “What a great job we did and with so few members in our Guild!” Our meetings have been getting stronger in number each month and we now have 12-15 regular members present. This is a small group but they are all hard workers and we proved that this week-end. Winners of the show are listed below.

We appreciate everyone who supported us and helped make our show the success it was. The Johnson City Quilt Guild meets the 4th Thursday of each month, except November and December, at 7:00 pm at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Johnson City. We will be meeting tonight and hope to see you there. We welcome new members and we feel that we have a very well rounded group from Blanco County and surrounding areas.
