It’s that time of year when singers across Blanco County come together to begin rehearsals for the annual Community Choir Christmas program. Since 1974 Beverly Voron has been assembling singers for a performance to bring a musical Christmas expression to our community.

This year the Blanco County Community Choir will perform The Christmas Messiah by Handel. Rehearsals will be on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 beginning on September 14 at the Baptist Church in Blanco.

Everyone is invited to be a part of this volunteer choir. Every year there are singers from teenagers to golden agers having fun singing together. So if you have ever wanted to sing parts of the wonderful Messiah, if you have sung this beautiful music many times, or if you are completely unfamiliar with the music – all are invited to be a part.
