Press release provided by Pedernales Electric Coop
Dr. Stuart Nunnally, District 1 Advisory Director on the Pedernales Electric Cooperative Board of Directors, has announced his resignation from the Board, effective immediately. District 1 encompasses portions of Burnet and Lampasas counties, including the city of Marble Falls.
In a letter sent to PEC Board President R.B. Felps, Nunnally said, “One of the greatest blessings in my life has been the privilege of serving as Advisory Director for Pedernales Electric Co-op. The Board members, management and staff have become some of my dearest and most respected friends.
“Now that the list of major concerns raised in the lawsuit have been addressed, I can no longer wholeheartedly devote the time and energy necessary to warrant my position as Advisory Director on the PEC Board,” Nunnally continued. “I am looking forward to spending more time with my family and my business, as well as continuing to serve as trustee for Faith Academy of Marble Falls.
“I have great confidence in the new PEC Board, General Manager, and staff, that you will continue to lead PEC in providing outstanding service to its members.”
Nunnally is in private dental practice in Marble Falls, where he has lived for more than 53 years. In addition to his position on Pedernales Electric’s Board, he has also been active in area civic and educational organizations, such as the Marble Falls/Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce, the Marble Falls Independent School District and the National Association of University-Model Schools.
