• Reckless Driver. 3:10 PM. US 281, southbound into Johnson City.
• Suspicious Circumstances. 8:26 PM. An officer was requested to check on what sounded like shots fired or fireworks (with Blanco Co. SO).
Jun 6
• Disturbance (Verbal). 12:25 AM. Officers responded to a disturbance at 4R Bar. The two subjects involved were sent to different locations for the night (with Blanco Co. SO).
• Reckless Driving. 2:15 AM. A truck was seen driving crazily. Officers responded and arrested one subject. Another was detained and later released (with Blanco Co. SO).
• Assault. 1:25 PM. An officer took a statement on an assault that occurred at two locations.
• Suspicious Person. 5:44 PM. A suspicious person was acting agitated and knocking on the Johnson City Bank Drive-Thru windows. Officers responded and reported that the subject left (with Blanco Co. SO).
• Civil Matter / Child Custody. 5:45 PM. An officer was requested for a child custody call.

• Alarm. 6:00 PM. LBJ Middle School. The building was secure.
• Animal Complaint. 7:32 PM. A sick cat was reported on the caller’s door step. An officer took care of the animal.
• Suspicious Person. 8:18 PM. A person was consuming alcohol in the Exxon parking lot.

• Noise Complaint. 2:30 AM. A complainant called for the third time about a noisy vehicle in the neighborhood.
• Animal Complaint. 1:23 PM. A malnourished pit bull with mange showed up at the complainant’s house. 911 advised that there isn’t any animal control and to call the SPCA.
• Lost/Found Property. 5:20 PM. A wallet was found on the street in front of Super S. The wallet’s owner picked it up.

• Followup Statement. 3:02 PM. A caller requested to make a statement to an officer.
• Threats (Verbal Only). 3:32 PM. A complainant reported a subject making threats at the complainant’s place of work.
• Wildlife Complaint. 7:42 PM. A caller reported a sick raccoon in the front yard.
• Noise Complaint. 10:02 PM. Very loud music was reported.

• Suspicious Person. 3:13 PM. A complainant stated that a subject was running back and forth on Ave N and may cause an accident. The subject was gone when an officer arrived.
• Suspicious Person. 11:22 PM. A suspicious person was just kicked out of the 4R Bar. An officer reported that the person was gone for the night.

• Animal Complaint. 1:13 PM. A dog was running loose on US 290 West at The Old Lumberyard. An officer located the owner.
• Suspicious Circumstances. 5:04 PM. A caller found that someone had parked a trailer on their lawn. The caller knocked on the trailer and no one answered.
• Animal Complaint. 6:11 PM. An officer responded to a call about a dog.
• Suspicious Circumstances. 11:01 PM. A caller reported several intoxicated subjects making a lot of noise nearby.

• Information. 7:42 AM. A subject was harassing individuals at a business.
• Reckless Driver. 1:02 PM. A reckless driver was reported on RR 2766. An officer followed the vehicle and it checked out OK. The officer reported that it was very windy, causing the vehicle to swerve.
• Animal Complaint. 8:25 PM. A caller reported a dead deer on Ave J with a fawn. The responding officer did not find the animals.

• Welfare Check. 10:30 AM. A caller requested an officer to check on an individual who was supposed to show up in Austin and hadn’t called. An officer reported that no one was home.
• Noise Complaint. 6:41 PM. Loud music was reported.
• Criminal Mischief. 8:30 PM. A report was filed about a vehicle’s gas cap that had been messed with.

• Juvenile Complaint. 1:58 AM. A juvenile was reported as a possible runaway. An officer was later requested to speak with the juvenile.
• Suspicious Circumstances. 6:24 PM. An officer was requested to check on what sounded like shots fired.
• Suspicious Person. 8:13 PM. A suspicious person was walking around the LBJ Elementary School campus.
Blanco County Sheriff’s Office Reports
These reports were filed between Jun 5 and Jun 14.
Jun 5
• Suspicious Person. 8:03 PM. A person was reported walking on US 290 East. The driver who reported the person could barely see him. An officer reported that the subject did not want a ride.
• Traffic Hazard. 9:24 PM. A large road sign was reported in the middle of the roadway. Officers removed the sign (with Johnson City PD).
Jun 6
• Suspicious Vehicle. 2:54 AM. An individual reported a vehicle parked with its engine running and a driver inside. The responding officer issued a citation for public intoxication. A wrecker was requested.
• Prisoner Transfer. 5:31 AM. An inmate was transferred to Del Valle.
• Burn Ban Violation. 7:40 AM. A large number of brush piles were seen burning on a property.
• Transport. 8:38 AM. A subject requested a ride to the county line.
• Loose Livestock. 1:20 PM. A horse was running loose on the side of US 281. The horse ran into a driveway and the complainant closed the gate. The owner was later located by the complainant.
• Traffic Hazard. 2:19 PM. Two triple-wide trailers were heading southbound on US 281, into Johnson City. The trailers were sticking 10 feet into the northbound lanes, causing traffic to swerve to avoid hitting the trailers.
• Suspicious Activity. 3:51 PM. Officers received consent and searched a vehicle on US 281. No illegal contraband was found. Blanco PD and Texas Parks and Wildlife assisted.
Jun 7
• Information. 9:33 AM. Subjects were seen putting a canoe into the river at the low water crossing on Cox Rd.
• Loose Livestock. 3:10 PM. An albino elk was seen running south in the middle of Middle Creek Rd. An officer was unable to locate the animal.
• Motorist Assist. 6:07 PM. A complainant ran out of gas on US 281, a mile north of Johnson City.
• Discharge of Firearms. 7:41 PM. A caller reported what sounded like shots from a high-powered rifle. An officer reported that everything was OK.
• Identity Theft. 7:46 PM. A complainant reported identity theft.
• Civil Matter. 9:02 PM. 911 received a report of property damage, stalking, and harassment. An officer spoke with both parties.
• Game Complaint / Poaching. 9:22 PM. Poaching was reported on RR 165 (with Texas Parks & Wildlife).
• Agency Assist. 9:49 PM. Blanco Volunteer Fire Department requested an officer to assist them on 473 West.
Jun 8
• Noise Complaint. 1:47 AM. A complainant reported a convertible with a loud music playing and occupants yelling. An officer could not find the vehicle in the area.
• Illegal Dumping. 10:26 AM. A truck was seen dumping limbs near the Pedernales River at the county fairgrounds. Responding officers found the subjects and told them to go back and pick up the limbs. Two citations were issued.
• Animal Complaint. 12:20 PM. Baby opossums were in the caller’s dog pen and the caller did not know what to do with them. An officer took care of the animals.
• Trespass. 4:46 PM. Four or five cars were parked on the bridge on Tejas Trail and subjects were jumping into the water. An officer arrived but was unable to locate the subjects.
• Possible Break-In. 10:05 PM. A caller stated that someone tried to break into the residence. An officer was requested and took an attempted burglary report (with Blanco PD).
Jun 9
• Traffic Accident. 12:20 AM. RR 1323.
• Traffic Accident. 8:28 AM. A report was taken on an accident involving an 18-wheeler on US 281, just north of Twin Sisters.
• Suspicious. 10:37 AM. A small child was seen sitting on the side of US 290 East. An officer was unable to locate the child.
• Juvenile Complaint. 9:05 PM. A caller requested to speak with an officer. One subject was taken into custody.
Jun 10
• Suspicious Circumstances. 6:24 AM. Speedy Stop had not yet opened and a subject was seen pacing back and forth in front of the store, described by the complainant as strange and suspicious.
• Loose Livestock / Estray. 4:44 PM. A contract cowboy was called in to collect a dark brown burro from a subject’s property.
• Motorist Assist. 10:13 PM. A caller notified police that she would park her vehicle at the county fairgrounds overnight because her headlights were not working and she had horses in a trailer.
• Suspicious Activity / Trespass. 10:23 PM. A caller reported trespassers on the property. An officer reported that the car lights were from the neighbor’s car.
Jun 11
• Suspicious Circumstances / Agency Assist. 12:13 AM. An officer responded to a call at the Blanco Bowling Alley.
• Suspicious Circumstances. 1:47 AM. An officer took information about subjects possibly killing the complainant’s cats.
• Alarm. 8:46 AM.
• Information. 1:22 PM. An officer reviewed a surveillance camera tape.
• Suspicious Circumstances. 2:56 PM. A caller stated that subjects were shooting semi-automatic guns and the targets were facing the caller’s residence.
• Close Patrol. 4:45 PM. An officer was assigned to monitor TxDOT maintenance equipment after dark.
• Civil Matter. 6:20 PM. A caller found that, upon arriving home, the landlord had removed all the property from the residence and dumped it outside. The caller had not received an eviction notice. An officer spoke with both parties and resolved the issue.
• Animal Complaint. 8:02 PM. A neighbor’s dog was repeatedly coming across the road and attacking the caller’s dog. An officer advised the caller of their rights.
• Animal Complaint. 8:50 PM. A yellow lab was seen stepping into oncoming traffic at the Y and chasing vehicles.
• Animal Complaint. 9:16 PM. The caller stated that an individual was chased by a fox. The call was referred to the game warden.
• Disturbance. 10:53 PM. A caller stated that two subjects had an argument; one had left and the other was yelling at the caller. An officer gave the subject a ride to the Sheriff’s Office to make phone calls to find a place to stay.
• Motorist Assist. 11:59 PM. An officer gave a ride to a subject who had to leave the vehicle on RR 165.

• Child Abuse. 2:47 PM. A report of child abuse was referred to Child Protective Services.

Jun 13
• Information. 2:20 AM. A caller heard dogs barking and a subject talking in the woods near the residence.
• Suspicious Vehicle. 5:15 AM. A car was seen on Ave. N. When the caller’s vehicle approached the car, two subjects jumped into the car and drove off.
• Harassment. 11:16 AM. An individual was receiving harassing phone calls and needed a police complaint number for the phone company.
• Information / Close Patrol. 2:02 PM. A caller gave 911 information about threats.
• Mutual Aid / Traffic Control. 5:16 PM. US 290 East.
• Suspicious Vehicle. 7:34 PM. A vehicle was seen taking photos of houses while driving on Narrows Rd., Forest View, and Monterey Dr.

• Information. 12:00 PM. A caller stated that it appeared that mailboxes were opened and mail was possibly stolen.
• Loose Livestock. 3:38 PM. A black cow was loose near the bridge on RR 1320.
• Loose Livestock. 9:35 PM. A black cow was in the roadway on Hwy 32 at Cox Rd.

• Arrest on View (DWI). 2:06 AM. One subject was arrested on US 281, two miles north of Blanco, for DWI.
• Traffic Accident. 12:09 PM. Motorcycle accident on 962 East.
• Traffic Accident. 12:19 PM. A motorcycle accident occurred on RR 1623 at Hye Albert Rd. Stonewall responded first.
• Traffic Accident. 5:06 PM. Information was taken at an accident on US 290 West at Flat Creek (with Johnson City PD).
