Make some new friends and mingle with local business owners. On Thursday, July 31st at 6:00 pm the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce will be holding a joint mixer with the Blanco Chamber of Commerce at the Miller Creek RV Resort in Johnson City.

“We’ll forget about the heat and enjoy the meet and greet! We’ll have some music [and] some great food too! Bring your smile some business cards and relax with us. We’ll even supply a Lavender Margarita or two,” a flier from the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce stated.

The event will allow local business people to network with each other and Chamber of Commerce members. However, the flier very clearly stated that “You don’t have to be a chamber member to join in the fun – everyone is welcome!”

Folks will be meeting in the middle of the Miller Creek RV Resort, located at 5618 Hwy 281 South. There is no charge to attend the mixer.

If you are new to the Johnson City/Blanco area this would be a great opportunity to get out and meet some new folks in town. This would also be a tremendous opportunity for local non-profit organizations to mingle and garner support for various causes. And if you would like to be more involved in the community, this would be a great place to discover how you can help the Chambers of Commerce with different projects.

But the main goal for the evening is to simply have fun and make new friends.
