The Blanco County 4-H & FFA Youth Council would like to announce that Odiorne Feed & Ranch Supply in Johnson City, has made a generous donation of a bale of shavings per exhibitor and shavings for the Youth Show starting January 26th. Exhibitors may go by Odiorne Feed & Ranch Supply in Johnson City to pick their bale of shavings. Reminder of a work day to set up pens, clean the show barn and make other additional preparations for the upcoming Blanco County Youth Show is scheduled for SATURDAY JANUARY 21, 2012 AT 9AM at the County Livestock Show Barn in Johnson City. ALL PARENTS OF EXHIBITORS, 4-H & FFA MEMBERS ARE ASKED TO COME AND HELP GET THE BARN READY FOR THE 2012 SHOW. (Elementary and Junior High students are required to have a parent or guardian with them.) Exhibitors must sign in and also sign out to qualify for early check release dates (see BCYS Rule Book for further information). Dates for the 2012 Blanco County Youth Show are January 26th and 27th, and premium sale on the 28th. Don’t forget about the 3rd Annual Salsa Contest on the 28th to support the Scholarship Fund, $10 entry fee & 2 quart jars of Salsa. Prize money, Salsa Entry Fee or scholarship donations may be mailed to Blanco County Youth Council, PO Box 1255, Blanco, TX 78606.
