"WOW! Has it really been 60 years?" expressed James Ross on Thursday, August 26, 2010, while drinking his coffee with his lovely and only bride, Yvonne. "I wouldn’t change a thing!" stated James Ross while Yvonne gave a Mona Lisa smile, knowing that he meant it. She is the rock, organizer, and encourager of the family. Their success is based on hard work, supporting each other in decisions, forgiveness, and faith. It is a blessing to have such role models in a family that leaves a legacy of giving and contributions to a community.

Their love and success was graced by family and close friends on Sunday, August 29, 2010, with a dinner favorite of Pecan Crusted Chicken, Silver K Salad, Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Green Beans, and of course an outstanding cake made in the shape of a boot by Mary Preece. All was prepared and served by the excellent staff of Silver K.

Attending the celebration was daughter, Janice Fox; grandchildren Vanessa Fox- Norton and husband, Jason with son, Travis; Jimmy Fox and wife, Andrea with children, Hailey and Haden; sister, Jeanette Pickard and husband, Bill; cousin and long time friend, Margaret Ann Jarratt; additional guests were nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Chuck Schuetz, grandson, from New York City was unable to attend.

The spirit that enables this couple to endure is a symbol for three more generations! The blessings of having them influence grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be remembered and past on to the future!
