The Lady Eagles hosted Lampasas and Canyon Lake last Tuesday. They played extremely tough against Lampasas beating them in 5 games: 25-20, 25-23, 15-25, 18-25, and 15-13. Incredible set/hit combinations were seen by Adrienne Pabon (12 kills) and Kaitlyn Hubbard (5 kills) during the game. Meredith Neely had also had fantastic serving to start each of the games (4 aces).

The same night saw the Lady Eagles playing Canyon Lake. The ladies played tough again against the much larger opponent and saw some very close scores: 15-25,25-27, and 23-25. They lost in the end.

"Tonight was a great example of what these ladies are capable of!" commented Coach Voron.

Unfortunately the ladies did not fair well against Blanco on Friday night losing: 14-25,18-25, and 12-25. Some great serving was seen again by Meredith Neely with 3 aces – but it was not enough to secure a win.

The Lady Eagle Junior Varisty met with Lampasas as well playing hard - but losing: 10-25,10-25, and 15-25. They got some great experience playing a much bigger team and did have some great moments. They Lady Eagles then played Canyon Lake and won that match: 25-13,25-14, and 25-18! Great on-target setting by Tori Mahar was matched well with the hitting of Brooke Wood. Great serving also by Andrea Workman helped win the match.

The Lady Eagles continue their busy schedule when Varsity will travel for a tournament in Fredericksburg and both the Varsity and Junior Varsity will play Ingram this Friday night in Johnson City at 4:00/5:00. Come see these amazing Lady Eagles!
