Daniel Joseph Koch, 60, passed away August 15, 2010 in Temple, TX, formerly of Round Rock, TX. He was born in Belgium, Wisconsin to Joseph Frank Koch and Rosa Margaret Martinez Koch. Daniel proudly served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps (Company B, 1st Battalion 9th Marines 3rd Div. EMF) during Vietnam and received the Purple Heart Medal. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Mary Ann Kolback; son, Brian Koch, daughter, Wendy Koch, and brother, Robert Norbert Koch. Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Carol Waugh Koch of Riesel, TX; two sons, Todd Daniel Koch of Pflugerville, TX and Garland Kenneth Stokes, III and wife Tanya of San Diego, CA; two daughters, Jamie Lynn Edwards and husband Chris of Bertram, TX and Jennifer Stokes Villanueva and husband Jason of Powhatan, VA; brother, James Lee Koch and wife Connie of Missouri; and sisters, Barbara Tenpenny and husband Jerry and Carol Esselmann and husband Dennis all of Wisconsin. He is also survived by ten granddaughters and many other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, August 20, 2010 at Crofts Funeral Home in Johnson City. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday afternoon with Pastor Jimmy Boatwright officiating. Interment will follow in the Sandy Cemetery.
