George Culp was presented with a Hometown Hero award by the Johnson City Community Education Foundation board for his many years of service.

George was a JCCEF founding member. Since 2006, he has donated numerous hours of volunteer time and talents towards raising money for higher education scholarships and teacher grants. The JCCEF board appreciates George for all of his efforts.
