Johnson City Athletic Boosters are hosting a softball tournament on August 28th to help raise funds for the purchase of a tunnel run-through. The tournament will follow ASA rules and has a team entry fee of $125. Please contact Misty Martinez at 868-7111 for more information on the tournament.

It is the responsibility of the community members and alumni to support our students and to keep our traditions alive. A run-through tunnel would be an excellent way to show our student athletes that we support them. It would also build pride, enthusiasm and team spirit! The tunnel will highlight the entry of our high school football players on to the field every Friday night. It can also be used at school and community pep-rallies, parades, school carnivals and other school sporting events.

The Boosters are asking you to help out this year by giving a donation to the Johnson City Athletic Boosters. They work very hard to provide support to the district-wide sports programs each year and they are hoping to be able to count on you for a generous donation of $100 or more.

Please note that any donation amount is always welcomed. All donors of $100 or more will be listed on a "run-through crew" banner which will be displayed at all events where the tunnel is used.

If you require any additional information, please contact Jennifer Holt 830-385-3040. Otherwise, you can mail your donation to JCABC/Tunnel Fund P.O. Box 1538 Johnson City, TX 78636.
