Barbara Elaine Hurt, 86, passed away July 15, 2010. She was born in Farmington, Kentucky to Merrit Sims and Martha Elizabeth Gay Sims. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Robert James "R.J." Oliver; and two brothers, Ralph and Joe Sims. She is survived by her husband, Randolph D. Hurt; son, Barry James Oliver; granddaughter, Bree Oliver-Daystar; and niece, Susan Elizabeth Sims. She is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 17, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Johnson City. Graveside services were held Monday, July 19, 2010 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock, AR.
