We have started our week blessed with having Catholic Charities and Capitol Area Food Bank here once again. It is so hard to express all of our gratitude for the wonderful services we have. However, we say thank you and we want everyone in the county to know that these services are here for them also and they are FREE.

Our community looks awesome right now. Thanks to the mowing and trimming, we have beautiful, beautiful yards. Now, we hate to be greedy, but a little prayer for some rain would be nice. It has happened just perfect everytime, so here goes...a prayer for rain.

Our Third Friday Luncheon was delicious. We enjoyed ourselves and visited and had the best time you can imagine and it never hurts to have Blue Bell Ice Cream.

We will have pest control this week. It seems like the scorpions and crickets have been plentiful along with some ants. This is taken care of for us and soon we will be pest free, except that we still have plenty of deer roaming around.

I have a few reminders to everyone in town. The FREE Foot Clinic is here on July 22nd, 2010, from 1 to 3 pm in our community room, 304 S. Ave F. Remember to bring a towel. This is sponsored by Texas Healthcare Solutions. We will then have a Bible Study on the 22nd at 4:00 pm. Refreshments are served and they are fantastic. Our study is open discussion and we find ourselves very lucky to have this. Bring your Bible and join us.

As far as my husband and I are concerned, we just keep moving around and visiting family anytime we can. We even ate at the Highlander in Burnet, joining my husband’s cousins.
