Hi folks. Well, Memorial Day went off in a flash making our next holiday, July 4th, 2010. I do hope that everybody spent Memorial Day in a special way and that big plans are in effect for July 4th.

I hope everybody remembered the Food Pantry. This is a very special place serving our community by two very special hard working people. They are the two most organized people I know.

The first week of June brings us another Bible Study on June 3rd, 2010 @ 304 S Ave F, Johnson City, TX @ 4:00 P.M. The response to this has been extremely well. Snacks are made and served and a discussion begins as the goodness spreads in our study. Please feel free to join us.

Our Tenant Association will have a meeting on June 8th, 2010 @ 4:00 P.M. in our community room. Tenants, please show your support by coming out to their meetings. They do an exceptional job and do it proudly.

Believe it or not, our June is starting off rather slowly. It is nice to have a nice quiet week or two as the heat does encourage us to stay inside and stay cool.

We do have two tenants in the hospital, Joyce Segura and James Turner. They are in two different hospitals. We send our prayers and good wishes for a speedy recovery. Get well soon.

We also have a program in our building, Combined Community Action (Meals on Wheels). Elizabeth Sooter can be contacted @ 830-868-4173 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. This program is appreciated in our community and has with it a wonderful voluntary support system. PEC employees use their lunch hour to deliver to the homebound and then meals are also served in our building @ 304 S. Ave. F., Johnson City, Texas.
