*****Bob & Darlene Woods were honored at a "going away party" at the home of Holly & Roger Lawson on Sunday, May 23. The Woods are going up North on an extended vacation again but will be back next winter. Hurry back!

*****The Hacker twins, Katie and Maddy graduated last Thursday night from Pre Kindergarten at the Hope School. In the audience to cheer them on was their Mom, Carrie Hacker, Nanny, Mary Garrett and Granny (by proxy) Cynthia Smith. Of course there were many school mates of these girls who also moved up a grade and were applauded by their families and friends. Good luck kids.

*****Did you know Blanco County 4-H is hosting their 2010 Texas 4-H Calf Roping & Break-A-Way School at the Blanco County Fair Grounds on June 20 - 24th, 2010. For more information call County Extension office at 830-868-7167.

*****Feel better soon wishes to little three year old Reid Weirich, son of Rusty & Kim. Reid has mono & is not feeling too well.

*****Jennifer Mills & some of her family made a Memorial Day weekend trip to Michigan. What fun!

*****Angela Bacon and her children will soon go to Germany for the summer to visit family.

*****Ye Olde Mike Stewart celebrated yet another birthday Friday night at Ye Olde Barn with family and other Olde friends! In spite of his age, he managed to have a great time!

*****The Buck ladies, Jerry Ann, Haley & Taylor traveled New Orleans over the Memorial Day weekend to visit friends.

*****First Baptist Church held a BBQ fundraiser on Saturday for the Wright family, son of Orville & Karen Knight, who will soon be missionaries to Thailand.

*****Carrie DeSpain and her family attended a 3 day basketball tournament in Dallas over the holiday weekend.

*****You might be a Johnson City native if you can remember when the Lion’s Club sold light bulbs door to door as a fundraiser.
