Pedernales Electric will hold a forum for candidates in the 2008 PEC Board of Directors election to meet with members and communicate their credentials, experience and views. The forum will be held May 1 at 6 p.m. at the PEC Training Center, located at 1506 North U.S. Highway 281 in Johnson City.

Each candidate will address the audience on the topics of their choice; the two-minute-long speeches will be filmed and the video posted to the utility’s web site several days after the forum. Following the addresses, members will have the opportunity to meet the candidates individually and ask questions.

The official slate of candidates who are invited to meet with members at the forum was announced during the April 21 meeting of PEC’s Board of Directors. More details about the forum, along with a map to the PEC Training Center, can be found at www.pec.coop.
