Stephen and Barbara Schmidt announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Nicole Schmidt, to Curtis Charles Dorotik, son of, Anthony and Wanda Dorotik of El Campo, Texas.

The bride-elect graduated from LBJ High School and Angelo State University with a degree in elementary education. She is currently employed as a second grade teacher at Ingram Elementary.

The prospective groom is a graduate of El Campo High School and Sam Houston State University with a degree in agriculture. He farms and ranches in El Campo.

The couple plans a June 7th wedding at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Stonewall.
