The LBJ High School regional track qualifiers competed in regional qualifier practice meets this past weekend. On Saturday, April 24 the Eagles traveled to Poth. At this meet, Lacey Delancey won the 400 meter race with a time of 61.97. In the 110 meter hurdles Kris Mcdonald took 2nd with a personal best time of 14.87 and in the 300 meter hurdles he placed 3rd, again with a personal best time of 39.84. In the long jump Laramie Blackwell placed 3rd with a best jump of 19 feet, 9 inches.

On Friday at the Canyon High School meet in New Braunfels Kelya Jureczki ran a season best time of 5:51 in the mile run. The Eagle regional qualifiers will compete at the Region IV-2A meet next Monday and Tuesday, May 3-4 at Converse Judson High School in San Antonio.Congratulations and best of luck to all Eagle regional qualifiers.
