JC vs Comfort

Tuesday, April 6th the Lady Eagles Varsity team defeated Comfort 2-0. Both teams played strong defense with the only two runs being scored in the 6th inning by Lacy Butler and Savanah Woodcock. Alex Houston pitched a tremendous game with 7 strike-outs and only giving up one hit. Adrienne Pabon had a huge catch in centerfield. Kayla Jernigan, Kendyll Kohlleppel, Lacy Butler, and Kacie Cantwell led the defense in the infield. The win put the Lady Eagles 3-1 in district.

The Lady Eagle JV team defeated Comfort 8-6. Kacie Cantwell pitched a great game with 5 strike-outs. She was assisted behind the plate by Kelsey Heavner. The offense was led by Madison Fountaine, Brittany Harris, Kelsey Heavner, and Chandler Wagner. Each having RBI’s. The defense was led by Jessie Rios, Jacy Johnson, Shelby Conlon, and Andrea Workman.

JC vs Brooks

Tuesday, April 13th the Lady Eagle Varsity team defeated Brooks Academy 15-0. The Lady Eagles played a quick 4 inning game against Brooks with each at bat for Brooks ending in 3-up 3-down. Alex Houston had 5 strike-outs. Savanah Woodcock had two throw downs with Lacy Butler for outs at 2nd on stolen bases. Brittany Harris stole a great hit with a catch from left field while Adrienne Pabon and Elizabeth O’Day did a great job protecting centerfield and right field. All the Lady Eagles played aggressive offense. Lacy Butler, Alex Houston, Kendyll Kohlleppel, Kayla Jernigan, Kacie Cantwell, Elizabeth O’Day, and Tamara Nacel all had RBI’s. Kendyll Kohlleppel and Lacy Butler both had in the park homeruns. The win puts the Lady Eagles 4-1 in district. The Lady Eagles play again in Johnson City Friday, April 16th against Blanco JV-5pm Varsity-7pm. This is an important district game and the Lady Eagles would love your support!
