Marshall Edgar Bruce, 84, passed away April 7, 2010 at his home in Johnson City. He was born in Lansing, MI to John William Bruce and Myrle Tallmadge Bruce.

Marshall enlisted with the U.S. Army and later retired from the U.S. Air Force, worked with the Boy Scouts of America and later retired from Brazoria County where he worked in road construction. After his retirement, Marshall enjoyed traveling around the country.

He and was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother, John William Bruce, Jr., and son Jeff Bruce.

Marshall is survived by his loving wife Lois; sister, Rusty Hightower and husband Bob of Washington; children, Marshall E. Bruce, JR. and wife Joan of Wisconsin, Roger Bruce of Tennessee, and Scott Bruce of Wisconsin, Dwain Barber and wife Patty; grandchildren, Tonya Schilling and husband Paul, Michael Bruce and wife Cori, and Jennifer Bruce, Nicole Barber, Justin Barber and wife Kandyce, and Sean Barber and wife Caro; great grandchildren, Gabrielle & Bode Schilling, Kaitlyn and Conner Bruce, and Shane Patrick Barber. Marshall is also survived by other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Marshall’s ashes will be buried in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI at a later date
