Kendra Smith and Kayla Meier had successful outings with their 4-H and FFA projects at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Goat Show on March 11. Both young ladies exhibited goats in the Light-Heavyweight Division, competing against 85 exhibitors.

When the dust had settled..Kendra placed 4th and Kayla 11th; qualifying for the premium sale. Kayla is a Johnson City FFA member and Kendra exhibited through Blanco County 4-H
