AARP is offering its four-hour course on safe driving for seniors at 9 am Saturday, March 13, at the First United Methodist Church. It’s open to anyone, but is aimed at drivers aged 55 or better. Completion of the class earns a discount on car insurance from most companies (but it doesn’t count for ticket dismissal). Cost is $12 for AARP members or $14 for non-members. The course is sponsored by the Marvelously Mature (M&Ms) group at the church. To register, call JoAnn in the church office at 868-7414.
