My, February has left us rather quickly and March has come in with some rain. How is that for starting off March 1st, 2010? I love March mainly because it reminds that spring is on its’ way plus daylight savings time is coming. This year Day Light Savings comes on March 14th, 2010 and Spring will be here on March 20th, 2010.

Tenants come and join in on Game Day sponsored by Texas Health Care Solutions on March 9th, 2010 @ 1:00 pm till ????? This is always fun and provides a neat time to spend an afternoon together with Barbara Gourley providing prizes. Texas Agri-Life will be @ our community room on March 11th, 2010 @ 10:45 am and give a presentation on Food Safety. This presentation can be attended by anyone.

We have two tenants in the Hill Country Memorial Hospital and we have three tenants in Wind Crest Rehabilitation. We miss them terribly and we wish them well.

We are very blessed to have new maintenance personnel. Kemp Elliott started working for the Johnson City Housing Authority on March 1st, 2010. Welcome Kemp!

Food for thought: "Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality." — Earl Nightingale

We can plant any seed we want in the soil, and if it’s given enough time and attention, it will grow into a flower, vegetable, or tree. The same goes for our mind. We can plant misery and negative thoughts, or we can choose to plant the most hopeful, success-focused thoughts we can muster. With enough time and attention, those seeds will grow as well. Will they grow into a promising future or a mediocre life? That depends on what you planted.
