*****Rodney Hartmann was spotted carrying a dozen red rose & a large box of chocolates into Ronnie’s BBQ on Friday, February 12th. Wonder who is the lucky girl?
*****Bill and Pat Stokes are both in Windcrest Rehab in Fredericksburg. Bill went in on Tuesday after a 2 week stay in the Heart Hospital of Austin and Pat went in on Thursday after a 3 day stay in Hill County Memorial Hospital. They are both doing good and looking forward to their return home. Bill is in room 105 and Pat in room 112. Get well wishes to both of them!
*****Mike Weisenbaugh, son of Darryl and Sharon Weisenbaugh has received orders to U. S. Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team (ANT) Galveston, TX. Chief Petty Officer Weisenbaugh will depart his current assignment as Officer in Charge (OIC) of Station Green Bay, WI, and assume the position of OIC for ANT Galveston beginning summer of this year. Michael will be responsible for maintaining over 700 aids to navigation along a 50 mile stretch of the Texas coast. His area of responsibility includes the Houston Ship Channel. This waterway ranks as the busiest port in the U.S. in terms of foreign tonnage, the second busiest port in the U.S. in terms of overall tonnage and the tenth busiest port in the world. Michael and his wife Sarah have two children; Emma, four and their one year old son, Lane.
*****The 6th grade Curriculum Enrichment Class of LBJ Middle School has been working diligently on their next production, "Theseus and the Minotaur." This is a presentation based loosely on the traditional tale of Theseus and the Minotaur. The show is an educational supplement to their study of classical mythology and history. They will be presenting their musical/ play to the M&M’s of Johnson City on Wednesday, March 3rd, in the Methodist Activity Building at 10:45ish. All are welcome to attend. Laughter and fun is a promise to all. They will also perform for their peers on the school stage on March 2nd. The time for that performance has not yet been determined.

*****Get well wishes to Leo & Evelyn Hudgins after an accident at their home. Pray their burns are well on the way to recovery.
*****Joy Watson accompanied her daughters Denise Mick & Brenda Williams to Grand Prairie for a wedding shower honoring Denise’s future daughter-in-law Whitney. Upon returning to Johnson City, Joy then traveled to San Antonio to spend a couple of nights with Denise & her family.

*****Tip for the week: Windshield Wiper Frost Free Fluid: When you have to leave your car outside overnight in the winter, mix 3 parts vinegar to 1 part water and coat the windows with this solution. This vinegar and water combination is said to keep windshields ice and frost-free.
