Former publisher of the Record Courier, Shelly Heskett Harris, has changed from writing fact to fiction and she’s gone overboard with a romantic adventure that reaches from San Antonio Texas to the harsh lands of Siberia.

Shelly was owner and publisher of the Record Courier during the 1980’s and after retiring, she shifted to writing fiction. This romantic romp across Europe is titled "Beyond the Shimmer Gate." and challenges both the heroine and the reader to step through the shimmer gate and into a world of magic and adventure.

Grace‘s witch neighbor, Belinda, involves her in a dangerous quest to recover the lost book of the Druids. Mother and daughter gnomes are sent along to deal with dangerous troll half-breeds..
