Sally Armstrong and four of her Donkey-Oaties Miniature Donkeys competed in the donkey and mule show at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo on Sunday, January 24, 2010.

Stock Market’s Maximum Cash (Max), Armstrong’s six-year-old gelding, won Reserve Champion High Point Miniature Donkey in the Open Adult Division. Armstrong was presented a Gist Silversmith belt buckle for their achievement. Max placed in all seven of his classes which included halter, in-hand trail, jumping, and driving events.

Armstrong also took Arnie, Firefly, and Mav-a-lous to Fort Worth. They each placed in their halter classes with a second, fourth, and third place, respectively. There were approximately 35 Miniature Donkeys entered in the show so Armstrong was pleased with their results.

During the spring and summer Armstrong plans to enter Combined Driving Events and Drive Trials with "Max" and also continue to work with "Bond" and "Hardy" driving as

a team. They will go back on the show circuit in the fall.
