Well, the sisters are on the road again. We got up and headed out to Brenham to their very lovely quilt show. We left Johnson City around 8:00 am and got there around 10:30 am, give or take a few. There were so many people already there that we had to drive thru the parking lot several times to find parking.

I had talked earlier in the week to Geneva Eubanks and was hoping to see her there. I did not see her and Geneva if we missed you I am so sorry. The building was very compact and I just knew if she was in there I would have found her.

We made our trek through the rows of quilts and found some lovely ones. You know you always have your favorites and you get to vote for your favorite.

One that Marjorie seemed to like had a heart block made from 2 ½ inch blocks with ½ square triangle blocks also. It was very pretty and made from scraps. It was very colorful.

We found the vendors to be plentiful and great. The ladies from the quilt shop in Buda were there and they are always so friendly and they also display so cute.

The ladies from Brenham had a country store booth and sold everything from A to Z. They had scraps, pincushions, books and magazines, and almost anything you might be looking for. All priced from 25 cents to $2.00. Everything was very reasonable.

It was fun looking in their booth, but also very crowded. It was a great quilt show, not a large one but it was put together very well. We had a great time and yes we did stop for some Bluebell ice cream.Happy Quilting, Janie
