The Lady Eagles played against Comfort in Comfort.

The Lady Eagles 8th Grade B team played a very exciting game that came down to the wire but lost 22-24. Katie Porter had 4 points and Jackie Medrano had 2 points –the leading scorer was Lydia Yachimski with 12 points.

The 7th graders came out fighting but lost to Comfort 10-30. Hailey Hernandez was the top scorer of the night with 8 points followed by Katelyn Reveal with 2 points.

The 8th grade A team beat Comfort very decisively 40-10. Excellent fast-breaking allowed the girls to get ahead early. Top scorer was Whitney Wood with 12 points followed by Brook Wood with 10 points and the Kiley Wood and Taylor Kay who each had 6 points.

The Lady Eagles 8th grade team also participated in a tournament in Harper this past weekend and placed 3rd. They lost the first game to Harper but played well in the last half. Brooke Wood scored 10 points and Anjelica Ramirez scored 6 points.

The next game against Comfort was an easy win for the Lady Eagles with a score of 37-12. Brooke Wood was the top scorer once again with 23 points followed by Whitney Wood with 6 points. Great defense set up the fast break with great defense from Katelyn Barrientes. Great rebounding was also present with Anjelica Ramirez and Taylor Kay under the basket. Great Job Lady Eagles!!
