Ooooohhhh… it has been cold enough for me, what about you? I keep thinking that it will warm up any day now, but the weather fools me again. I guess I shouldn’t complain because we have been getting some rain and that we still need. I am sure I will be complaining about the heat soon.
Groundhog Day is February 2nd so let us look for answers to your Groundhog Day questions? Here are some answers I found @ http://www.groundhog.org/groundhog-day/about-groundhog-day/
Yes! Punxsutawney Phil is the only true weather forecasting groundhog. The others are just impostors. How often is Phil’s prediction correct? 100% of the time, of course! How many "Phils" have there been over the years? There has only been one Punxsutawney Phil. He has been making predictions for over 120 years! Punxsutawney Phil gets his longevity from drinking the "elixir of life," a secret recipe. Phil takes one sip every summer at the Groundhog Picnic and it magically gives him seven more years of life. On February 2, Phil comes out of his burrow on Gobbler’s Knob - in front of thousands of followers from all over the world - to predict the weather for the rest of winter. According to legend, if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter weather. If he does not see his shadow, there will be an early spring. Now, I call that some kind of answers.
Next Monday on February 8th, 2010 we are having Bingo @ 1:00 pm sponsored by Girling. This is a lot of fun, plus just a nice get together. We will follow that with a Game Day sponsored by Texas Healthcare Solutions on February 9th, 2010 @ 1:00 pm.
We have several people just a little under the weather. We wish then well and we are saying special prayers for each.

Food for thought: "Act enthusiastic and you will be enthusiastic." —Dale Carnegie
Nearly everyone recognizes the effect our emotions have on our physical appearance. Anger forms a frown on your face, pain a grimace. What we often miss is that this works in reverse as well. Choosing to smile even when it is unnatural creates a happier mood in you. Acting joyful and enthusiastic can bring about joy and enthusiasm in you. Knowing this, it is completely in your control to bring about the emotions in yourself that you desire. You are in control.
Tenants please call me @ 868-2776 to share info or drop it by the office.
