Well, Sherry and I took off Wednesday and made a trip to Seguin. No quilt shops there, just a good friend that needed to be visited. We had a great day.

Coming home we stopped in San Marcos. Sherry needed fabric for several projects she is working on. We made some great purchases there and had a great day. Sherry went prepared with all her projects in her tote bag. We were able to find what she needed and I had my list of embroidery thread numbers. I found them all, which is unusual. I usually get home with all but one or two. It was my lucky day.

We stopped for a fast food supper and I remembered that San Marcos used to have a Marble Slab Creamery. Well, guess what? They still do. It has been over two years since I had Marble Slab and it was great. No changes-same thing, Cream Cheese ice cream with raspberries. Oh my, it was great. The perfect ending to a great day. I ate every little bit of my cone and so did Sherry.

Keep on quilting and remember the rewards (ice cream)are great.

Happy Quilting, Janie
