TURKEY RELOCATION The Johnson City Housing Authority is hosting a meeting on February 11th for the public to learn about a trapping and relocation effort being considered by Texas Parks & Wildlife. The trapping is being considered as a way to reduce the large, urban Rio Grande turkey population in Johnson City. The trapped turkeys would be relocated to an area in Navarro County that has been determined to have adequate habitat and could accommodate additional turkeys. You are invited to come and learn more. SOMETHING FOR THE KIDS Youth Community Assistance Program will be having their first activity on Saturday, 02-06-2010 at the ASB Karate Studio across from Post Office. There will be hot dogs, chips and drinks. There will also be a video game competition. Middle school age can attend from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. High school age can attend from 9:00 pm to 12:00 am. Parents can attend. There will be no charge for this activity. We will see you there.
