SUL ROSS ANNOUNCES FALL SEMESTER DEAN’S LIST

Stefan R. Hambright and Kendall A. Smith, both of Johnson City and undergraduates at Sul Ross State University’s Alpine Campus, were named to the Dean’s List for the 2009 fall semester. Both Hambright and Smith had grade point averages of 4.0 for the semester.

A total of 234 Sul Ross State University students, 198 on the Alpine Campus and 36 at Rio Grande College, were named to the fall semester Dean’s List. The list recognizes students who maintain a grade point average of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Local residents named to Dean’s List at Texas State

The following local students have been named to the Fall 2009 Dean’s List at Texas State University-San Marcos:

* Jennifer L Brown, a resident of Johnson City (78636).

* Leslie A Saxton, a resident of Johnson City (78636).

* Jessica R Clanton, a resident of Round Mountain (78663).

To be named to the Dean’s List at Texas State, a student must earn a minimum grade-point average of 3.50 while carrying a class load of at least 12 semester hours.
