The JV girls basketball team lost to Blanco last Friday with a score of 41-11. It was a disappointing loss after playing such a strong game against Harper the week before.

"We struggled in practice all week due to factors that were beyond our control," said Coach Smith. "We have a completely different team than we did a week ago. We lost a couple of players and gained some new ones as well. We just didn’t have time to gel as a team and get our roles ironed out. I am sure we will be a different team next time we play Blanco."

Brittany Harris did a great job offensively while Madison Fountaine, Andrea Workman, Katie Stevenson and Shelby Conlon did a great job with their defensive rebounding. The next home game is Friday, January 22 against Comfort.
