The Lady Eagles came out and defeated their cross county rivals in what Coach Jung said was their best game of the season.

The Panthers started out with a 2 point lead and never led the game again. The Lady Eagles fast break was unstoppable giving them a 10 point lead at the half.

However the second half the Lady Panthers stiffened up their defense cutting the Lady Eagles lead to just 2 points with under a minute left.

Clutch free throws by Alex Houston, Kayla Jernigan and Savanah Woodcock enabled the Lady Eagles to keep their lead and win by a 4 point margin.

Leading the scoring was Kayla Jernigan with 19 points and Kelya Jureczki with 11. The defense was led by relentless pressure defense on the point by Savanah Woodcock. Kayla Jernigan led the team in steals as well with 9 and Adrienne Pabon led the team with 2 blocks. The Lady Eagles ended the game winning 44-38.

The next home game will be Friday against Comfort.
