*****Thursday, Adelia Felps had a birthday lunch at the Silver K. Camilla Pilgrim, Ava Didaway, Adelia’s sisters Marsha & Norma, Ann Debo, and Rebecca Crider wished her well.

*****Josh Debo, 11 year old son of David and Maurina Debo of Marble Falls, killed a buck the last day of hunting season. Congratulations to Josh.

*****Amy Debo Shaw, husband Wally and family moved to Dayton over the Christmas Holidays from Livingston, Texas.

*****Southerland Price broke his arm while practicing for a rodeo event.

*****Congratulations to Lexy Crochet, daughter of Suree & Kaiser Birck, who shot an 8 point buck.

*****Stan Stamps from Tucson, Arizona was a recent visitor at Becky Crider’s home.

*****The Youth of the First Baptist Church hosted a Chili Cook-off/auction to raise money for their Spring Break trip to Glorietta, New Mexico. There were several bidding wars going on along with lots of good food to eat.

*****Thank you to the Youth Stock Show for bringing us rain last week. It happens every time.

*****Get well wishes to Art Daniel who had surgery on Tuesday. Heal quickly, Art. They need you on that ambulance!

*****The regular monthly meeting of the North Blanco Emergency Services District (NBCESD) was held at the Johnson City Volunteer Fire Department (JCVFD) station on Monday, January 18. Representatives from North Blanco Emergency Medical Services (NBCEMS), Johnson City Volunteer Fire Department (JCVFD) and Round Mountain Volunteer Fire Department (RMVFD) attended. Also attending was Judge Terry Carter who gave the oath of office to two of the ESD board members.

*****Tip for the week: To remove soap scum & water spots use a clean cloth to wipe room temperature white vinegar onto your shower walls. The acid in the vinegar will help dissolve the alkali quickly.
