What a wonderful 2009 we had and now we are already into 2010. You know 2010 sounds so different than 2009. It has a ring to it that sounds authoritative and promising. Don’t you think?

Here at the authority we still have deer and turkeys just visiting and making a sight for us like a good TV show. It is interesting and fun to watch our wildlife in action. In truth, you cannot get a good show like this on TV.

We have started our new year here with outgoing officers for our Tenant Association. Outgoing officers are Dorothy Turner-President, Charline Read-Vice-President, and Bonnie Felps-Secretary/Treasurer. We now have Edelmira Garcia-President, Elisabeth Sooter-Vice-President, Laurie Williams-Secretary, and Shelley Harris-Treasurer. They will be an awesome team and we as past officers wish them the very best.

For our little community we already have Bingo on the agenda for January 11th, 2010 @ 1:00 PM sponsored by Girling. We also will have Game Day sponsored by Texas Health Care Solutions on January 12th, 2010 @ 1:00 PM. We have our Third Friday Potluck Luncheon on the 15th of January along with Girling sponsoring an "Ask the Nurse Session" on the 15th @ 11:00 AM right before our luncheon. This is really awesome. You can ask the nurse any question and get some really good information. This is free and interesting.

I have heard that several people have been a little under the weather and not feeling 100%. We all hope that the New Year has brought in extra blessings for good health for everyone. Myself, I was in the hospital for a few days, but I am good as new.

Food for thought: "As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." - John F. Kennedy

Remember, people do not care how much you know..... until they know how much you care!
