*****Kids and grandkids took Bobby and Delores Fenton to the Magic Time Machine in San Antonio to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Saturday, December 12th. Their anniversary is actually Christmas Eve but they celebrated a little early. Those attending were: Bobby and Delores, Missy, Becky and husband Bill Martin and their children, Cole, Sara and Tripp, Sonya and husband Michael "Hooter" Preston and their children, McKenzie, MaKayla and Slayton. It was also Bill and Cole’s birthday celebration.....Cole’s was the 4th and Bill’s is the 13th. In case you have never been, all the waiters are in costumes of different movie characters. Our waitress was a cute little "very" pregnant bumble bee, but when they came to sing to them for their birthdays and anniversary, they got all the "hot looking" girls like Daisy Duke and one that looked just like Angelina Jolie in the movie "Tomb Raiders". Since it was the Fenton’s grandson, Cole’s 14th birthday, the girls really made a big deal over him and he had his picture made with both of them. It was great fun and now all the grandkids want to go there for their birthday.
*****Laura Farmer & Kevin hosted Aunt Candice (Laura’s sister from Austin) & cousins Cindy Nagel, Sean Johnson, Lynn and Wayne Lewis from Burnet to the Live Nativity play at the Methodist Church, dinner at Dairy Queen, & the horse drawn buggy ride around town to look at the CHRISTmas lights. When it was over they went to PEC to see Santa. They had a great time & it was certainly great entertainment at a very inexpensive price. They are planning another outing next weekend.
*****Shane Buck is home recovering after back surgery. Recovery is very slow but he is doing well. Shane’s father Curtis stayed after surgery and has been with the Buck family to help with Jerry Ann’s honey do list.
