The Jr. High boys basketball teams took on the Comfort Bobcats Monday night.

The C Team walked away with a win 19 to 6. Mason Harrell led the Eagles scoring with 6 points and Juan Guzman contributed 5. Trevor Ulrich and Javier Coronilla contributed by pressuring the ball and forcing several turnovers.

The 7th Grade team played a good game against Comfort, but took a loss 28 to 34. Will Rutherford led scoring with 11 points. Jake Rassett contributed 7 and provided several blocks. Michael Maenius and Dalton Crofts pushed the ball down the floor. Logan Cantwell came down with several rebounds for the Eagles.

The 8th Grade came back from behind to win 33 to 27. After trailing 22-9 at the beginning of the 3rd quarter, the Eagles began to turn it around. Preston Workman’s 19 point effort led the way. Mikan Patel pushed the ball down the court and found the open man several times. Garrett DeLeon and Anthony Capra fought for rebounds and quickly found the outlets in transition.
