Joseph Lance Wisian (Joey) was born on January 7, 1981. On Monday, November 30, 2009, he suddenly left this earthly world to be with His Lord in Heaven. Born in San Marcos, Texas, he spent the majority of his life living in the San Marcos/Kyle area. He graduated from Jack C. Hays High School in 1999. He went on to get a Bachelor’s degree from Texas State University in Psychology and a minor in Social Work. His dream was to help others like him who struggled with depression and other mental health issues. He loved spending time with his family. Anytime there was a family gathering, he was there. He loved music, especially rock. He wrote many of his own songs and was always playing the guitar. He was an amazing writer, loved working with computers, and was pretty much good at anything that he tried.
Joey is survived by his devoted and loving parents, Jerry and Carol Wisian of Blanco. He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Joe and Muriel Clark of Rockport and paternal grandmother Betty Wisian of San Marcos. He is also survived by his sister and brother in law Courtney and Robert Crosland of Spicewood.
