Last Friday night the Johnson City Eagles finished their season with a loss to the Comfort Bobcats by a score of 71 to 14. Both of the Eagle scores came on touchdown passes from Junior Cody Smith. The first was a 6 yard pass to Junior Jacob Sisson and a 26 yard pass to Junior Kris McDonald. After the second touchdown Senior Cody Atwood ran in the 2 point conversion.

Seniors on this years team were Jordan Jones, Jorge Regino, Cody Atwood, London McQueen, Chris Eddy, Chris Outlaw, Dylan Rivera, Garrett Goodwin, Nick Mahrou and Shawn McNease.

The total yearly team stats were: Quarterback Junior Cody Smith 213 attempts for 152 completions, 8 interceptions, 1235 total yards with 16 touchdowns.

Junior Kris McDonald 29 receptions for 546 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Junior Laramie Blackwell 19 receptions, 306 yards, 2 touchdowns.

Junior Aaron Humphrey 6 receptions, 66 yards, 1 touchdown.

Junior Jacob Sisson 12 receptions 118 yards, 1 touchdown.

Junior Luke Neely 8 receptions 204 yards, 2 touchdowns.

Ball Carriers: Senior Cody Atwood 102 carries for 672 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Junior Trent Rodriquez 28 carries for 193 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Junior Kris McDonald 26 carries for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The LBJ Eagle JV football team closed out their 2009 season this past Thursday, November 5 at Comfort.The Eagles fell to the Bobcats 38-0.
